Aerolíneas Argentinas

Aerolíneas Argentinas, founded in 1950, is the national flag carrier of Argentina. After many years of operating as a private carrier, the airline was restructured into a governmental company in December 2008. In 2009, Dr. Mariano Recalde became president of Aerolíneas Argentinas and Austral. The new corporate identity, which was presented in June 2010, symbolizes a new era of high technology and a strive for success.

Nowadays, the airline offers flights to 64 international and national destinations. As far as the international routes are concerned, Aerolíneas Argentinas flies on daily frequencies between Madrid and the main hub Buenos Aires, Ezeiza, as well as from Barcelona or Rome four times a week. With a modern fleet of 55 aircrafts, among others 32 Boeing 737-200, the airline is the largest carrier in Argentina.
